History
My history begins in South Burlington, Vermont where I was born and raised. I went to Chamberlin school as a child, which is conveniently located in the backyard. From Chamberlin, I moved on to Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School for sixth through eighth grade. In late elementary school and early middle school I was active in the Odyssey of the mind program where a team of friends and I competed in mind engaging and creative projects.
In high school I found an interest in computers and networking. During high school I completed all four semesters of the Cisco Networking Academy for Cisco routing and switching configuration and troubleshooting. I was especially pleased when I was accepted to the Vermont Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), a program through Vermont Technical College that allowed me to take my senior year of high school as a freshmen in college. This allowed me to jump start my education a year early.
I attended VTC as part of the Bachelor Computer Engineering Technology program. It was a very rewarding experience that gave me knowledge into electronics, various programming languages, and a basis for information technology and networking. I met many great friends in college that I still have today. Our class dwindled quickly as people moved on to other majors and institutions. My junior and senior year was especially fun because we had a wing of Morey dorm all to ourselves. We did a lot of fun things such as watching movies in the hall with a projector. I graduated from Vermont Technical College with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering Technology in May 2009.
Starting May 26, 2009 I began my professional career at SymQuest Group Inc of South Burlington, Vermont as a Information Systems Support Specialist. At SymQuest I have the responsibility of supporting end users, maintaining backups, managing computer imaging, supporting critical business systems and databases and creating and maintaining SQL reporting services. I was very happy when I starting working with SymQuest. They are a company that cares about its customers and its workers. They are a very successful company that is rapidly expanding. The company itself offers printing, and networking solutions for businesses all over Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Northwestern Massachusetts, and Northeastern New York.
